IMPORTANT: DRAFT PLACEHOLDER — replace before accepting real payments.

This starter backend handles a purchaser-supplied Minecraft Java Edition username, the corresponding UUID from Minecraft's profile lookup service, selected product, amount, PayPal order/capture identifiers, delivery state and timestamps. A private random receipt token grants read access to a single purchase's receipt. It does not store payment card numbers. PayPal processes payment information.

The website stores a list of receipt references in the purchaser's browser localStorage, which can be removed when browser data is cleared. Server-side order records are persisted in SQLite. Add your real controller identity, legal basis, retention periods, rights procedure, disclosure details, complaints contacts, and a contact address before launch. Review PayPal's separate privacy policy.

Keep receipt URLs private. They allow anyone possessing them to inspect the purchase details shown on that receipt.
